The "Yellow Plums" accused Belsat’s Telegram channel of creating fakes. Allegedly, Belsat journalists wrote that budget tax revenues in all regions of Belarus had decreased, while in fact they had only increased.
In fact, the fake was created by the “Yellow Plums” themselves - they simply cropped the second part of the post. This is how the whole thing looks like:
The first half of the post provides statistics on how tax revenues from the regions have changed in the consolidated budget. In some places they have risen noticeably, in others they have fallen. Then there’s inflation, which is 18%. It’s higher than the growth of payments, so it simply consumes this growth. So it turns out that in fact there are less taxes coming into the budget. Thus, Belsat wasn’t lying.
