Ryhor Azaronak claimed that Elon Musk was named after a character of the novel The Mars Project. The novel’s author, Wernher von Braun, was a member of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party. The Weekly Top Fake team verified the timeline: the name Elon appeared in the Musk family decades before the book was published.

A presenter on News.by passed off a false claim as an interesting fact about the DPRK
Hosts of the Glavnyi efir show on the First Information Channel claimed that North Korea welcomes tourists from different countries year-round. The Weekly Top Fake team found that this is not the case: North Korea only accepts tourists from Russia, and even for them, trips remain tightly controlled and restricted.
