What is Belarusian Interactive Catalogue of Fakes

The Belarusian Interactive Catalogue of Fakes is an online tool designed to explore false information and disinformation campaigns targeting Belarus. The Catalogue of Fakes was developed by the Belarusian Investigative Center (BIC) as part of their ongoing AntiFake News project, which has been gathering and examining false information campaigns since 2021.

The platform offers a comprehensive overview of the fake news landscape in Belarus, including visualizations and search functions to help users identify and understand disinformation tactics. It also provides insights into the media and individuals involved in spreading false narratives and allows users to explore specific examples of manipulation and distortion of information. This is a holistic view of how the propaganda machine works.

Belarus’ minimum secure truck parking rates for Lithuanian haulers turned out to be higher than the highest prices in Europe

Political analyst Vadzim Baravik described the steps Belarus took to reduce the losses transport companies suffered when Lithuanian long-haul trucks were held inside the country. On BT, the mansion of a Russian traffic police officer with a gold toilet was passed off as property owned by businessman Mindich, a friend of Zelensky

The authors of the News.by Telegram channel (owned by Belteleradiocompany) claimed to expose the luxurious lifestyle of businessman Timur Mindich, a friend of Volodymyr Zelensky, and showed photos said to be from his home. The Weekly Top Fake team traced where the images were really taken.
